Different sites offer different AdSense Revenue shares to writers Hubpages 50% for example. They seem to say that they split the page impressions 50/50 but how do they set it up on with Google? Could it be manipulated in favour of the sites?
i just setup a forum its pretty new, offering 100% adsense share. thread starter gets 75% weight while replier gets 25% weight.
its all just rotation. even DP used to share adsense in the initial stage. what manipualtion u r referring ?
Why don't you just use Blogger. They just provide free space to host blogs and you keep 100% you earn from adsense or any other sources. Why get in hazard?? Just do the simple stuff everybody else is doing
I really wish people would read the questions! HOW do you set up AdSense Sharing? Not what percentage do sites offer - blimey I know that... I know blogger.com gives you 100% but 100% of nothing as they don't give you traffic too. I know AdSense shares vary from virtually nothing (our beloved DP) to 50% (as in my signature) to 80% SnipSly.com. How would I set up AdSense Sharing on a forum or an article publishing site? Also, in your opinion, could AdSense share be manipulated in favour of the site owner? I don't reckon it could be as Google would really not want to support such criminal activity but I would like to know what people think here. There is a site I suspect do that but no way would I mention their name...
I'm pretty sure this is it. You just set up your site so that ads with your Publisher ID show 60% of the time (for example) and ads with the "sharer"'s Publisher ID shows 40% of the time. Over time, the revenue should average out 60% for the host/40% for the user. And of course there are ways for the site owner to cheat. Pretty easy actually which is why I'd never join an Adsense revenue sharing site that doesn't have a sterling reputation.
As I understand it you need 100,000 page views a day to be elligible for a shared revenue account. Take a look at http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/ Acorn
Thanks - a very useful link - Now I'm wondering how sites can set up with AdSense sharing from the off - any suggestions? I know a couple that have done this...
I've read the Google API pages (as referenced by another answer to this thread). It seems Google are very into fair play with contributing publishers so how could the website owners cheat? I'd be very interested to know how they could do this so please give some more information - or anyone else reading this...
1associate, CrowdA is an alternative go Google Adsense Sharing. We approve you for the program regardless your traffic. Once you reach the required traffic to be eligible for Google you will be able to decide how to continue.
