Would 10 to 13 cents be a good start to pay per click ?

    With which network? What niche?

Either way i would say you might be starting a little low, i like to start high and decrease bids accordingly.

You need to provide more details for people if you want their help.

i would say about 20 cents would be correct and then you can increase or decrease accordingly, but depending on the niche 13 cents might be good enough

Niche is very important. If you are bidding on keywords that are not searched very much then you can pay cents for the clicks.
If however you are bidding on insurance or something like that then you will be paying dollars, the amount depends on the keyword itself.

You aren't giving us enough information to give you accurate estimates, it seems like you need to do a lot more research yourself rather than just asking how much it will cost, it really isn't that easy.

I have found that it is not very easy, but am trying to get more experience, and am moving along in the niche of how to suceed on the internet, but thanks for all the useful comments. To be safe i am going with no more than 20 cents.

$.20 for a click?! Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that's really low for any ad network. I am running ads on a gaming website and I can usually get anywhere from $0.45/click on a low day and upwards of $2.50 on a good day per click.

This is a common sense question. You only pay the amount per click depending on your projected outcome. Now if you believe you will make 20p per visitor, then paying 25p per click would put you in a loss.

So work out your projected turnover per visitor, that's what I normally do. Realistically if you know how to use Adwords, then you can get your pay per click down to sub 20p on most niches I believe.
