hello, too many different styles? which one? i use 1 type of fonts there. try to giving my best next..
some variations from my previous designs... first, i feel like having a body layout is great... second, a sample variation of color scheme... if you have any color preferences in mind please feel free to utter. copycats.... stay away!!!!
I believe that minimalism/functionalism is free of trendiness and is always in style (it has been since it's invention in the middle 50's). @zearth: I didn't mean too many types of fonts or too many fonts. I meant too many styles (different colors, outlined, bold, italic, etc). Sorry for not being more precise in my feedback. I like your new blue version. 2 things: - The logo needs a bit of work (interesting but not my favorite) - The login button is a bit out of style
@jnjnnino: Interesting but there's going to be problems opening the option panel and with a long history. In your mock-up, the functional part of the site (the enter url box, the your titbit url box and the recent history box) only use a small part of the screen. The design should not compromise functionality.
@veckd: I can't pinpoint it but there's something that doesn't work on your second version. So, I prefer your first version. It has a better visual consistency even if it has the problems that I told you about.
@sanishan: I like the overall design. 2 Comments: - I'm not too big on the logo being Red and Grey. I don't think that works - The buttons needs a bit of work.
hi thanks for the comments, first mock up is just showing the homepage i think that displaying long list of recent history won't be a problem since am putting a link for Viewing all the recent history and when clicked it goes to this page.. You will also notice that I didn't show the shorten box since this will only be shown after a user hit the Go button to process. With this regards, clicking option under enter URL box won't have any problem extending down to show few options. Hope this helps. regards, Jr
