How do I promote this startup? I have no VC

Here is my new startup: http://jumpino.com/

I made it with my brother, took us over 6 months. I've tried contacting bloggers to feature us with fair to poor results. Does anyone have any creative ideas for promotion that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

    Thanks,
    Noemi

Hi, I am really impressed with your site! You can try buying avatars and sig links promoting your site here on DP, I think that can help you. Always great to see another female webmaster :)

Can you come up with a way to make money from the site? And can you forecast the revenue and profits if you say had 100,000 users.

If so - you could try asking for VC, there are plenty of companies who would invest if you have a solid business plan.

We want to do it on our own for the first three months, and then ask for VC. I'm looking for promotion ideas for these first 3 months.

Don't be discouraged with the poor responses from the bloggers. It's the way it goes. It's possible they may consider you being rather a spammer than a business opportunity. If you really believe you have a profitable idea, contact a Venture Capital firm that will think through your business plan in depth. Venture Capital is what made all the top website on the internet be what they are today.

I can help you out. My app has been featured by all the major blogs and on TV. Send me a message - there are a few things that jumped out at me right away, which probably caused your site to have no coverage.

It looks like a great idea, I wish you luck. These things tend to be hard to advertise. Get a few of your friend to test it with you, then consider paying people to sign up and use it a bit. And maybe, just maybe, you will get it running.
