Some categories don't accept listing suggestions and so don't have the suggest URL link. In such cases, please choose a subcategory or linked category instead.

Go to respective category and check the submit your site link at the top navigation bar. You'll get form, submit it and wait for editor to approve.

It is free, but believe that we are not a listing service and it can take from a few days to a few years before a review takes place. We do not advise the submitter if a suggestion has been used or not used at that review. Once suggested there is nothing more that can be done to promote the site at DMOZ continually submitting can get you banned and asking for a site review will usually be refused.

I hope that does not mean that you have submitted your site more than once. That is against our guidelines and can get you banned as a spammer.

Only apply once and wait. It's important you follow their guidelines on how to write the titles and description. They are pretty strict.

So if you're not representing DMOZ whose guidelines are you talking about?

Offering my own advice does not mean that I cannot refer to guidelines and as an editor I can refer to them as 'our' guidelines. My advice may or may not be in line with DMOZ I seek only to represent my own views but it is advice from my 10 years or so experience as an editor with DMOZ.

I've seen no evidence that you are, were, or ever could possibly be an editor. Sorry.

    Example: http://www.dmoz.org/profiles/qryztufre.html] <- I was an editor
Example: http://www.dmoz.org/profiles/anonymously.html] <- you never were
