Why do people believe that if their site has a PR3 home page then their entire site is PR3? Its is called PAGE rank not site rank. It only apply to the page it is on not the entire site. CNN is not a PR9 website It has a PR9 front page and the new pages that are published gets a gray bar until PR is passed from another page. I would write an article about this, it's not really that important.
The people that are trying to tell me that have a PR# site. It just gets on my nerves having to explain this to people. So I thought I would spread the word since so many seems to have missed the memo.
there are loads of them in "link sales" section, saying they can provide PR8 site links ... but it's usually a link from a PR Zero page tho ... also drives me up the wall but noobs fall for it *sigh*
Honey I know your making a killing off this, but this in not about you. At least some people agree with me on this one. Yes, link sales is exactly where all this PR mess live.
yes dude you are right. most of them know this.. it is commonsense... and they can see it when they browse..
Yes, pagerank is different from site rank. Pagerank is little green bar that indicates numbers from 0-10.
Everyone knows this unless they are a total newbie. Plus the toolbar PR is worthless measure of a site.
I actually didn't know this, I was under the assumption every page on the site has the same pagerank... glad I read this though Never know what you can learn on this forum
