Hello all.. I have a query... m hoping i l get the answer here.... I have got a project of a new web directory having no rankings at all... the domain is just one year old... the directory has sections like Business, Recruitments, Used Items etc. Although I created a plan and presented it to the Client in which the time line was 6 months... But the Client does not want to wait for so long.... Any methods to get rankings as early as possible... Please Discuss here... Thanks
Increase backlink to website by submit to all such as Search engine, Directory, Article, Social bookmark and invite the others exchange their link to you.
Do a linkbuilding for your site..Do it naturally and don't be aggressive. If you do it in a aggressive way surely you will have a good rankings but in a months or 2 your site will be gone on the search engine because you will be banned.

Well, if you really need good ranking means better put Ad in other major directories and submit to major Directory List sites.. Its really difficult if your client only consider of getting descent PR in a very short time..
There is no such quick method to get links to your site, we need to have patience, as it will be only our end result. you can start checking the On page factors as the client might have designed not in SEO friendly manner and also start promoting your site using blogs, social media sites,link building, Press releases, Articles....
