What Google Index?

    Hi,
    I just want to know about google index. while we are searching in google with a tool like following form site:www.yyyyyy.com. Its displaying some links related to yyyyyy site. can i call google index as internal links?

    and also please explain also about yahoo link.........?

    Google index means that your page is listed on search results( not means that you are on top on search results). You can see if your page is indexed on google by searching as site:yoursitename.com.

    Yahoo link means the total number of backlinks (dofollow or nofollow) your site gained.
