I recently post a message regarding keywords : singular or plural - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1587417.

But would like to continue this thread on a different note.

What I want to avoid in my metatag keywords i having it viewed as "keyword stuffing". These keywords are "Car Parts" but in spanish. This is for a hispanic website. Can you place all of these keywords in the metatags? Or how should this be done.

    partes de un carro,
    partes de carro,
    partes del carro,

No major search engine reads the keyword metatag.
Put a couple in for the minor search engines if you want, give it 5 minutes thought and forget about it, it's not worth spending any time on.

The keyword meta tag is insignificant, so stop worrying about it and move onto other more important aspects of onsite seo.

The Meta KW field isn't insignificant. It acts as a fail-safe to help SEs identify those keywords associated with your content, but not necessarily proper fits for your title tag, meta desc. etc.

In truth, synonyms are fine - a problem develops, however, when you use the same keywords in all of the different meta KW fields for different pages. Synonyms aren't keyword stuffing - if you can use them tastefully.

Spend one or two minutes thinking of relevant KWs for your content that aren't in your TT, copy, meta desc. and so on - at worst it'll make no difference. At best, the difference will be minimal.

    Best of luck,
    -E
