BCCI has planned just 2 test matches in the next year and that too against Bangladesh. We won't be able retain the No.1 spot because of BCCI:mad:

That is really bad news for Indian Cricket fans. Test cricket will never die and it shows the real talent.

Even if we win 2-0 against Bangladesh, we won't get much points (because Bangladesh's ranking is too low) .

Yes, India is rushing forward significantly after the captaincy of Ganguly. Ganguly and John Wright gave a new face for the Indian cricket. Now Dhoni and Kerston have joined hand in hand and we all hope India to be at the top of the world cricket. Now they have enough potential for that, a great captain, supportive coach and a balanced and attacking team. India prevail...

It would be interesting to know what is the Test schedule for both South Africa and Australia. At least it would give us a rough idea of how long India would remain at the top! :D

Well BCCI also called off Feb Test series against South Africa and instead of Test series now we have ODI series against South Africa! It looks BCCI not interested in Test Cricket!
