Based on my experience running hundreds of blogs, here are major reasons why ads does not appear. 1. Site is not indexed by Google - this is the major reason 8 out of 10 instances. 2. Irrelevant Keywords - another major reason 3. Insufficient Content - if your site have few content, this might happen. 4. Mixed content - google cannot determine what type of ads to show.. 5. Niche is small and not too popular...
Sometimes also if you have stop words in your content, the ads won't display, there is no official list of stop words used by adsense, but some like kill, death, murder and such, as well as porn related words will make the ads not display.
As you said that if your website is not indexed in G it will not show up ads - So what will happen if i am moving my old site to new domain? Still the adsense ads will not show up in my new website?
You'll do a 301 redirect and it will be indexed in a matter of hours (or days if Google doesn't crawl your site very often).
by using the 301 redirection to move your old file to new location, the ads will not move (I hope so). because, u had created another file on new location and just redirecting.. if u do for rewrite then your ad will keep alive.
hi Titing Kabayo, i have too experinced the same problem with only few contents.. Later i made it correct. Then i didn't find any problem at all.
All of my blogs are now converted to adsense for domains and I have even bigger earnings with less work...
I think it's more of a lack of an advertiser which is why that happens. It happens more frequently on odd sized image adsense boxes.
