Hello, Can somebody tell me what the average earnings are with google adsense? I understand it also depends on what kind of website it is and how many visitors you have. But I think there must be some general "rule" on how much you can earn if you have that many visitors. Let's say I have got 100.000 unique visitors each month. The website contains all kinds of information so the visitors are not interested in one specific subject. Thanks
It's impossible to accurately estimate. It depends on your niche, traffic source, ad placement, and most importantly, how well your traffic converts for the advertisers. As a general rule, the less focused your site, the lower the CTR. The only way to tell is to test it for a few weeks.
Ok, thanks for the fast answer. Is there maybe then a minimum and a maximum on whats average to earn. Let say I have got 33.000 visitors earning the lowest 33.000 earning the middle and 33.000 earnings the most. The things is I need to come up with a financial plan and i want to count on something. Thanks
I believe that according to Google's policies, users are not allowed to disclose their AdSense earnings publicly. Please let me know if I'm incorrect.
I dont want to know what his earnings are but what the general is way to calculate your possible earnings... I dont think that cant be discussed....
Again, it is impossible to even make a guess. Some sites get a .1% CTR, some get 20% or more. Some payouts are .01 per click, some are more than a $1.00. It could be $10 - it could be a lot more. There is no such thing as an "average".
It depends on your niche.if your theme is related to high paying keyword you can earn good amount from adsense.
That's all very true Doesn't sound like he has a niche - sounds like a general site covering all sorts of stuff - not sure how that will effect payout - only ever tried one "general topic" site - an article directory - it paid only a few cents per click, so I let it expire despite having 1,700 pages indexed in Google
From my understanding when you start getting into that magic number of 100,000 clicks a month you will start falling into a category of making a income of 3 to 5 thousand dollars a month. Also the type of ads that are placed on your site will be premium as well.
That's not been my experience unfortunately - but I recently got paid in advance for 1 million banner impressions for one of my high traffic sites When you get down to about 200,000 traffic rank on Alexa.com people start emailing you with CPA offers As you approach 100,000 rank on Alexa.com people start coming out of the woodwork!
Ok, I am confused you have adsense on this site and you are not making money? The traffic brings clicks, whats the deal?
Hi, I have 12 sites with adsense on them and they usually make money - if not then I let them expire, as I'm not prepared to work on a site without making enough money to make it worthwhile The article directory had untargeted adsense ads - so they paid peanuts. The site was fully SEO'd but income was a sick joke, and the site took up a lot of my time - so I let it expire The site with good traffic, that I just sold a million banner impressions on does make good adsense money - that's the site I made $64 adsense in a day with My plan now is to make lots of quicky sites that require no promotion or upkeep, and put them on free hosting - so I won't even have to pay for a domain name - these sites won't expire, so even if they only make a few dollars a month, that's OK
every 100 people it should be 4 % click threw so basically you can make up to about 5 bucks per 100 visitors.
