    I need some advice.

I have a site that gets approx. 10K unique visitors per day. The site is PR4. I am wondering what is a reasonable charge for a full page advertising on the site (not on the main page but 97% of users visit the next page where the ad would be).

First of all, PageRank is assigned to the page, not the site.

In order to determine the market rate for advertising, you need to let us know a few things.

    - PageRank of the PAGE the ad would be on.
    - The type of ad it would be. (text link, banner (provide the size), article with in content link(s))
    - The age of the site
    - The correct traffic. There's no way you have 10k unique visitors per day. Perhaps you meant 10k views per day, or 10k unique visitors per month. Or maybe you just mean unique visits, which is different from visitors. You need to look it up and get the proper number and terminology.
    - The number of outbound links on the page

I have proper UVs from Analytics that I can provide. I have more than 10K per "DAY" and not per month. I do have statistics going back for over 2 years.

Secondly, I understand your point about page rank. The main page is PR4. The landing page after input on the main page is PR4. The proposed page (obviously pR0) would be sandwiched between the two and would "ALWAYS" be presented after input from the front page.

It would be a full page (i.e. any size desired by the advertiser) with a "SKIP THIS AD" marked on the top right.

Remember, I do get millions of visitors to the site per year (over 3M). Does anyone have any idea what I should charge?

If you truly have over 10,000 unique visitors, then you have one of the top 100 websites on the internet, and you'll be able to charge quite a bit.

Are you sure you are looking in 'visitors >> overview >> Absolute Unique Visitors' ? There's quite a big difference between 'Unique Visitors' and 'Unique Visits'.

In terms of traffic, normally 30k unique visitors per month is considered absolutly outstanding traffic. If you're doing 10 times that, then you are doing very well indeed. Even if you're looking at 'Visits' instead of 'Visitors', you're still talking about a ton of traffic. More than most of the largest sites on the internet.

With that much traffic, you should probably consider charging per 1000 impressions.

Here is the proof of absolute visitors for the past month. What kind of valuation can i get for a "sandwich" page (between my main page and another landing page). Both pages are pr4.

    Regards

You can think of charging any money from $500 to $1000 for one month advertising in your sidebar depending upon your website niche. But these are just rough estimates

Yeah, $500 seems reasonable for that much traffic.

I was thinking a full page (similar to an intro) but after the main page. There are 7 to 10K visitors to this page?

It would be a full page. You would think I could get $1000?

Personally, I don't think you could get that much. But most of my clients are interested in the SEO benefits of link advertisements, and not the direct traffic it would bring.

If you are selling advertisements based on traffic, then I think you would need to use impressions as your base factor, and sell the advertising based on the industry standard for impressions.

Taking a quick look in the 'traffic' forum here at DP, it looks like you can buy 10,000 impressions of a full page ad on a quality site for about $20. Multiple that by 30 days and you get $600 per month. so, that's the most I'd say that you'd be able to get.
