Domainsite.com SCAM Company - Stay Away!

I have a .in domain at domainsite. Previously I lost my domain because they dropped my domain within 1 day of the domain getting expired.

Luckly I managed to pickup my domain again.

This time during renewal, I failed to renew it despite 20-25 attempts. Finally after sending atleast 5 support emails, they inform me: We have a registry connectivity problem, please payup at our paypal email id directly and email us the transaction number we shall renew the domain.

After paying up their paypal id, its over 1 week and atleast 10 emails to them, my domain has not been renewed.

I can't even move my domain as the Auth Code for it is missing.

Domainsite.com sucks and is a SCAM company, please stay away from it.

    I call this Magic post!

I suddenly find my domain name renewed in the dns history. - That's Good.

Unfortunately, in my account the domain still shows expired status, I don't have the Autho Code appearing only for my that domain name and lastly no support email replies.

I can breath a sign of relief that atleast the domain has been renewed with the registrar, I hope other issues get fixed too.

But for sure after this experience, I will soon move all my domains out of Domainsite.

thats scary. but i think your domain is expired still. when domain expires it shows one year more and u can renew within 30-35 days for normal fee after that it goes to delete state ;) u better call them if the domain is premium name.

yeah once i had a billing problem and it took 5-6 days to resolve. it was just a refund issue but took long time. as they don't have more support people.

so you are a fan of Godaddy, but as we all know, Godaddy's renewal price is high, right ?

but i have never gone with domainsite, if so, i will try it myself to believe this statement.

I have been with domainsite for about 4 years now and I've never had a single issue like the one you did. If you let the domain expire then you can't blame it on them, and you're moaning because they took 5 hours to get back to you? That's exceptionally good as registrars go. Maybe they will see sense and take the domain off you for the damage you incurred to their reputation.

billing related means i regged one .in domain using paypal but some body regged that domain at the same time and the transaction went pending state. after a mail they refunded that money but it took 5 days as it appears all billing related will be dealt by single person

I said 5 support emails and 10 days. Still sounds good to you?

@Mark64uk: Use the email support, that's the one they reply.
