More aspects should be considered when finding answer on such questions. I'll name a few...

    1) adsense sucks
    2) adsense sucks
    3) adsense sucks

Current adsense earnings of mine are almost 50% of my previous earnings, so there is only one answer. adsene sucks. Less clicks than before, lower average earning per click than before. Once again for those who don't understand, adsense sucks.

And those who want to say "work hard, you'll earn", please SHUT UP! I'm not earning $10 or $100 per month.

    Hey Pinkretard

I have been having the same problem. Earnings in Nov and Dec dropped. Nov traffic was the same as other months and Dec looking ok as well. Finally 2 days ago, I started looking through my websites carefully, seeing what ads were appearing and I found a whole lot of rubbish coming up. On some pages 2 out of 3 ad spots had same image ad. Other spots had 2 out of 2 of the same image ads. The culprit for my health websites were fatburningfurnace.com.

I added this to my competitive ad filter on Adsense, along with their other domain mctoko.com.

I did this to only one site and within 20 minutes I started seeing the difference. Small but significant. 2 days later and I can assure you that I will be sitting through all my other sites and doing the same.

Ok, December is a time where a lot of advertisers pull out, depending on your niche. It usually restores in January. But at the same time, if irrelevant ads or the same ads are being repeated, users are less likely to click.

    Just a thought.

The less competition you have for your keywords, the more you can earn.

It's just like when your keywords are used by several thousand others, you dont have a stand of earning more than that.

Yes, that's a solution too. I did another thing, started using chitika and infolinks. They seem to work quite good for me.

I need to reserve some time for filtering poor ads too. My main problem is CTR these days; it used to be over 7% on some pages during Summer. These days it's under 3%. Which looks like you may be right.

Thanks for sharing your experience ;) .

depending on your niche. my niche get almost one bucks per click. let's do check CPC in the google KW tools to find out how much is your niche for general KW.

Also I learn that only 1 ads will get bigger cpc more than 2-3 ads space. let just blend 1 ads in your content and see result. good luck.

Bad but not that bad, really. Try chasing some higher paying keywords. See if you can find any in your niche..sometimes it's just a matter of changing a small term.

a ) Don't stuff crappy links in posts.
b ) Go find another network that will pay you more then 1$ eCPM for your traffic.

There are many aspects that Google follows for PPC. Concerning your problem - Google will lower down CPC if they dosen't find any conversions from your adsense. They do have many ways in which they filter out every CPC.

So better is to get quality traffic so that your PPC can increase.

I would also advice you to check out the CPC for your clicks by any keyword tool. Best is to use Google adwords tool to find CPC.
