My site is under construction apparently?

    It definitely is not.

It's not fancy, but there is enough text. It's a fully functioning webmaster tool that should have no problem returning ads. I can provide proof of traffic through analytics too.

It seems so hard to find someone to contact. Should I just try and re-apply with a different email? It seems to me like a rep probably just got sloppy.

Or I might just make a whole new site just to apply if that doesn't work but ugh.

What is the exact email Google sent you? I believe it usually says "Under Construction" then gives more explanatory text underneath that.

Which site did you apply with?

In your sig I see :http://danabbamont.wordpress.com/

But you aren't allowed to place Adsense on wordpress.com hosted sites.

    Also in your sig: http://www.gimmeaniche.com/

That site has basically no content except a form to fill out. Note that the Adsense bot can't fill out forms or execute scripts, so what is on that page is all it sees.

Don't apply again until you have figured out why your site was rejected and fixed the issue.

I think "under construction" was the reason Google gave him that his application was rejected.

If it was the gimme a niche site, it's clear why: there is no content except the one page with a form, which the Adsense bot can't "use".

If DanAbbamont wants an Adsense account, you need to create a site with significant original content - more than just one page's worth. And when you do get your application approved, you should NOT put ads on the site that was rejected, because Google has made clear that that site is not appropriate for Adsense.

You definitely need to redesign that page to make it more...catchy. And put some introductory content there so that it looks like a functioning site.

Hmm thanks everybody. It's kind of a catch 22 because the content of the site is really the keyword data that it returns. I tried adding an explanation just to have some text content but I guess that wasn't enough for them. It's a shame because lots of people are using it and I know that AdSense would be my best option.

I think I'm just going to either create or buy a niche blog and apply with that instead. It feels a little dishonest to me being that once I have the blog up I don't intend on really trying to get traffic or keep it updated, but i'll do what I have to do.

    Thanks again!

Just keep in mind that Google has already told you that your site is not appropriate for Adsense. If you apply with a blog and get approved, then stick the code on your current site, you run the risk of getting your account disabled and not getting any earnings at all.

Also, I can't get your site to work - is something supposed to happen when I click "Gimme a keyword" other than the button changing to "Working hopefully"?

I'll take the risk. I'll add a blog to the site itself as well. Maybe they'll be a bit more receptive then.

Have you tried it many times? I know there was some downtime yesterday. I had just showed my friend at work because he took an affiliate marketing glass in college and was interested and then a few minutes later he tried to visit a few times and the whole thing was down. I honestly think it might just be a matter of godaddy hosting being kind of subpar. Never had these problems with hostgator.

One more thing: do they typically accept blogspot blogs? I'd like to avoid buying another domain.
