It's actually nothing at all like Free Traffic System --- It's got a far better interface (much easier to use) --- and my articles seem to end up on a lot more sites than they do with FTS (even with a pro membership FTS is capped at 40 sites.) If I had to recommend just one of these two - I would not hesitate to recommend Article Ranks over FTS.

I signed up yesterday for articleranks. Figured I would give it a try. Submitted 3 articles and so far none have been accepted. Can anyone tell me what to expect regarding the accepted/rejected percentage?

The articles are of decent quality.

I have about a 99% overall acceptance rate for my articles. Just give it a bit of time, ArticleRanks (like all of other good article distribution services) "drips" out their articles so that it appears more natural to the search engines.

Yes, I must extend my apologies for speaking too soon, Article Ranks is really quite different from Free Traffic System, I think both services are quite excellent and both have outstanding support.

I have been combining both services and the results have been phenomenal to say the least!

    I highly recommend both.

So far I have a 100% acceptance rate with both services

The key to getting maximum acceptance is to submit original quality content, DO NOT use automated spinners, but rather, spin them manually so that they make perfect sense and are not gibberish.

I spin mine so well that even the human editors over at Ezinearticles will accept them

    Have a prosperous day

Can we submit articles which are already published in our blos/sites?
Many people may have the same doubt.
Hope you will answer and pardon if it is a silly question.
    Thanks

I should mention here that I'm reconsidering my negative comments about FTS... It's actually winning my most recent link building test. I still hate the way it's set up as far as the whole choosing and re-choosing of blogs, but if it builds me links - I'll deal with it.

Yes you can, providing you are the original author, do keep in mind that you will need to spin the article to obtain uniwueness, otherwise no one will want to accept it on their own blogs because will not be original content for them

So what is the minimum number of words required to be accepted for distribution?

The minimum word count is 300 which is pretty standard for these types of services (AMA / UAW)

can anyone report a nice effect on serps as for now? I think this is why you all are doing this and
not just for the sake of backlinks, right?

I actually use the service strictly for the backlinks and as a result I have propelled many web pages to the top of the Serps . :D

I'm doing some SERPS testing here and ArticleRanks is doing well (in Yahoo & Google, not so well in Bing at the moment...)

And you know... backlinks tend to lead to SERPS rankings... that's the whole idea :)

One of my articles has just hit the 200 mark for no. of times published and two others are well over 100. My rankings are good for mildly competitive keywords but I'm using other methods as well. For long tail keywords I've got a couple of results (top 10 positions) in Google using AR alone.

We seem to be working our way up the SERP's quite well for our main keywords and phrases and our 2 articles have been published 50+ times so far now.

how exactly do you proceed with this process? how many different articles do you submit per time period (day, week)? do you submit the same article every time? do the 50 places where your article was posted all have the same article? isnt that duplicate content?

    1. there's no "exact" way to proceed. you can use these kind of tools in many different ways.

    2. how many articles you submit and how often you submit them depends on what you're trying to achieve. for example if you can fill up the search rankings with 5 articles then there's no reason to do 10. in general, I think it's a good idea to submit articles over time rather than just doing a bunch all at once. ArticleRanks (and other services like it) do use "dripping" so that the articles go out over time to appear more natural.

    3. I just keep submitting articles until I achieve the SERPS goals I want, and then I may occasionally send out a new article as sort of SERPS "maintenance."

    4. no, you don't submit the same article every time. I believe it's good form to write up a new article from scratch for each new submission, although I'm sure there are those that take short cuts. I think it's better for everyone in the long run if we try to keep our article quality high.

    5. no, they don't all have the same article because you can "spin" your article (I recommend using Magic Article Rewriter for this purpose so you can spin just one article and submit it via multiple article submission services.)
