Hi, Ive decided to create my first ever website. Its on reptiles. the content wasnt really the most important thing as theyre copy'd but im looking for a review on colours , fonts, and usabilty and anything else you think you may need to add. No offence, but that has to be ugliest website I've ever seen. It's really, really ugly. Since you seem to know how HTML works - I suggest you install wordpress on your webhost. Add a nice theme, and modify it in order for the theme to fit your needs. He did not ask for a link to his website. Stop spamming!
I didnt want to install wordpress and find a good theme, isnt that something everyone can do... im looking to learn Css, html, dreamweaver design and coding... Yes i agree its ugly but cant you give a decent answer to make my website better instead of suggesting adding wordpress?
nice job on a first website... white text on black background is a little hard to read...especially when there is a lot to read... Also you may want to use some named anchors for each section on a page with the categories at the top of the page and a "Back to Top" link at the end of each paragraph...
?? you want ppl to click on your ads to get you banned from your ad programs ? inviting to click on ads is against TOS of most advertisers such as G etc !! a lifetime ban resulting from such infarction may cost you far more than a million dollar in ad revenue LOSS !!
Its way better than my first site, I suggest you to use templates for dreamweaver, use left or right sidebar for navigation, use simple color or something that doesnt burn ppl eye, I bet you chose your niche from reading an ebook, its a low competitive niche, but adsense clicks pays cool, also you will see less traffic to ur site, yes wordpress is easy but you can always use easy stuff to be unique enough, I suggest you to read all about traffic and SEO. It's very hard to see the links with a black background. Either change the color of the links to something different (orange? gold?) so that they are easier to see. Also, if you are learning css, you should stylize your links so that they look nicer.
hi jeehan.. Ive choosen this niche simply becuase i do own alot of reptiles so i thought it would be intresting to do somthing like this.
