    Dodara the question is:
given that this is what the man from god said, who gets killed, when, and why.

The angel doesn't come every day. He comes only at the moment when a man cheats on his wife for the 1st time, and tells all the other women in the village of this except the woman who was cheated, and then never comes again. Since in our village no new men are cheating for a long time, the angel didn't show up for long time already, and he will not show up again after the man of god spoke, unless a new man cheats - which is not the case.

    So
Without the man of god, no killing took place and this could continue for ages.
And then, the man god said nothing new to the women of the village.
Will there be killings still? how many men? when? why?
    :)
I will post the answer later this evening.

This is an interesting riddle, can't wait to get the answer.:)

    If it's true...

Then he should be telling each wife who cheated, except for the one that has been cheated on. So, if your not told which man it was - you might assume it was your husband.

Unless this get together was an exception, and no one had recently cheated.

So... we had a village with 20 cheating men.
This was going on forever, since although a woman must kill her husband once she's sure he's been cheatin', nobody got killed because nobody speaks with nobody in this village. When a man cheats, an angel immediately tells about him to all of the village's women, except the woman who has been cheated.

When the man of god said: "There is at least one cheaing man in this village", he didn't give any new information: all women of the village already knew that. But still, his new information did change something. ;)

The solution: on the 20th day after the man of god said it, 20 men will be executed by their wives.

    proof:
This problem is easily solved by Mathematical Induction.

Lets assume that when the man of god said it, there was only a single cheating man in the village. In that case, his wife would have killed him on the spot, since she is not aware of any cheating men, so if the man of god says there is - it must be hers.
Or: 1 men killed on the 1st day.

If there were 2 unfaithful men, then all women of the village will know of 2, and 2 women will know of 1 cheating man.
But then, each of these 2 women will expect the other one to murder her husband on day 1 (which was the previous case - if she was the only cheated woman). But since day 1 passed and no man got killed, both of the women understand simultaneously on day 2 that the other one was expecting her to kill her husband, or: that her husband cheated. ;)
Or: 2 men killed on 2nd day.

    And so on...
3 men killed on the 3rd day
4 men killed on the 4rd day.
    ..
    ..
    ..
20 men killed on the 20th day.

the number 20 was just to confuse you, in the most general case:
x men will be killed on the x-th day.

I remember this problem from a very nice book I once read: http://www.amazon.com/Mathematician-Plays-Stock-Market/dp/0465054803 (by a temple uni. math professor).
In the book, he demonstrates stock market crashes with this scenario.
If an investors thinks he has a bad stock (=a cheating husband) he sells (=kills him).
The investors do not talk with each other (not on a meaningful scale) = the women.
The man of god are the bad news starting to come in days of euphoria when everybody's only buying.
The investors expect others to sell, but despite the bad new, the stocks to further up.
Until the investors understand finally that the situation is really shitty, and then they all sell at once leads to a collapse ;)
