How my domain be on sale @ Sedo ?

Hi all, I just causally use whois.domaintools.com to check one of my domain. What surprised me is the label "Domain For Sale" and link to sedo. I never used Sedo before, even that domain is under namecheap. So I'd contacted namecheap for this issue, and they told me to contact sedo. So Id contact them after I create my account at their site. (first ever account at Sedo).

For information, I purchased this domain from tdnam/godaddy (close out domain) many months ago and transfer it to namecheap.

How could this happened ??? Is this normal ? anyone has experienced like this before ? Thanks.

PS. Im still waiting for SEDO answer.

Someone who used to own the domain probably listed it at Sedo a long time ago and has not yet removed it. Some of the domains that I own are listed at Sedo too, but I don't even use Sedo to sell domains! It's a common thing that happens to most of us.

if you have sedo account just add that domain to your sedo listing and set sale option to NO that will be ok

the old owner listed that domain in sedo. so sedo still shows it as for sale from that user.

The previous person who owned the domain before you had placed that domain for sale in sedo, so it is showing till now.

like others have stated this happens often. one of the previous owners of the domain had it listed at Sedo, sedo is not smart enough to remove past listings. Worst case scenario someone tries to buy it and nothing happens. if it really bothers you contact sedo.

    its mentioned in post # 3 :)

add that domain in your sedo account and set No for sale option. or you need to contact sedo or old domain owner and ask them to remove from the list
