Is this good or bad?

I am new to Amazon. I put up two links(products) last week. So far I got 347 clicks, 7 sales and $5.56. Conversion rate is about 2%. Is this good or bad?

 

7 sales... and only 5.56 earned? I would say thats a bit... crappy...

 

I think so too. Is the 2% conversion rate about right?

 

I couldent tell you as far as the conversion rate goes, i just started using amazon, But your earnings look poor in my honest opinion.

 

i dont get any sales from Amazon. I gave up on them. But I know others are doing pretty good with it. Atleast you are getting a sale...even with your crappy conversion, none the less you are converting.

Wow! Sell for $20 and you only got $5 someodd dollars for 7 sales... Im rather shocked... Kind of makes me want to stop using amazon.

 

You're definitely right. For $140 worth of sales, you definitely should be making $1000, maybe $10000. Amazon should be paying you the extra out of pocket.

 

This is why I never joined the Amazon affiliates thing.. Everyone's getting ripped IMO.. they need to re-think their strategy..

 

i hate their low commissions but I kinda have nothing else to sell on some sites

 

We've never had really any success with Amazon products.

We're able to generate far more revenue with other programs/vehicles.

 

sounds like amazon is in competition with google adsense. however, like someone said, that's more than I've been making which is next to nothing and I've had Amazon on at least two or three sites. I know I could be pushing it more, but it just doesn't seem worth it.

 

oooh...7 sales only get $5. I think it's not bad. if you new in amazon associates and get click over 100 in several days. that good...just make your visitor return back your site. and next day maybe you got big big sales.
