What is autoblogging?

Can anyone share his experience about autoblogging and its earnings here/

Autoblogging is where you dont create the content yourself, from what im aware, it goes against the whole point of what a blog is for.

Its automated so that the owner has to do very little.

Have you heard the saying "If you want a job done properly, do it yourself" ?

 

Beside autoblogging, I think there is a lot of clone site. Or that is also counted as autoblog?

One of my wordpress theme was included in a "round-up" made by a popular web design blog. After that, I got 10-20 trackbacks, and I found that their content is totally the same as the original blog.

 

I agree a lot of cloning and duplicate content out there.

 

Is there any simply instructions to create autoblog using blogger or selfhosted wordpress?

 

I use blogger & some of my blogs were blocked. I think, don't too many post like spam. use one or two keywords good.

Autoblogging for me is the art of using content feeds provided by different places of the internet to build a unique niche mashup website or service.

If you use other blog rss feeds & content to power your own content, link back to the original source. This will only help out the original author and his website.

Look on my blogsense page in my signature, and you will see a couple of examples of autoblogs that I built.

I do not consider any of them to be unethical or spammy! But many people will use autoblogging software like blogsense to build spammy blogs, how the art is handled is up to the developer.

I started today auto blog and mine seems pretty good

 

I just started building auto blogs after joining Steven Pierce's MRMI Super Cash System. I sold my first blog for $80, but I think I could have done better if I had been more experienced with the Flippa system. Oh well, you live you learn. I am getting ready to flip another of my auto blogs. This time I will do so here on the Digital Point forum. That is once I get such a privilege.

 

i think autoblogging is not so good for adsnese

 

I started doing autoblogs this year. They can make some money if you pick the right niche. But you would have to build alot of them to make any significant amount. Atleast that is my experience.

 

Yup we need right niche to start making money. I build 30 blog to make my first $10 with autoblog.

 

Don't use autoblog directly for adsense. I use it to give my main blog visitor.

 

I have some autoblogs which I made a few days ago, one is called http://www.creatingyourwebsite.co.cc. It has two autoblog plugins and is build with WordPress. If anyone wants this blog (it has free hosting and free domain) he should contact me.

 

Autoblogging means using a software for posting in your blog automatically by copying articles from other blogs. This is a cheap way of promoting a blog. Example for autoblogging software is WProbot.

 

or articles from article directories, or youtube videos from youtube, or yahoo answers questions, or forum posts via rss feeds. Or affiliate products. Or flickr images. Or picassa images. Or hulu videos. Or just about any cool thing that has rss these days.

autoblogging saves you content generation time. But if you are serious into it you must work on link building for traffic.

 

I agree. Link building with Web 2.0 sites is where you can get your sites to rank. It takes time. I sure don't like doing it but is necessary with these type of sites.

 

one of my blog is use autoblog, and i use some script to update content daily into my blog, i use amazon feed into this script and make alot of amazon content with my affiliate link inside, since i use this autoblog i make about $50-75 dollars for amazon associated and not much from adsense.
