In the village, there are 3 rules: A) When a man cheats on his wife, god's angel will let all the other women in the village know about it, except the women who has been cheated. B) people NEVER talk with one another regarding their relationships with their spouses and/or other people. C) When a woman finds out that her husband cheated on her, she must kill him on the same day. Lets assume that for a long time, there are only 20 unfaithful men in the village who cheat on their wives. Clearly, this situation can go on for eternity. All women of the village will know the identity 20 cheating men, whereas 20 women (those who were cheated) will know of 19. but since the people of the village never talk with one another, No man will ever get killed by his wife. she simply has not even a theoretical chance of knowing that she's been cheated. But then, one day, a messenger from god (=one whose word is considered by the people of the village to be the truth) gathers all of the people of our village in the main square, the village where there are 20 unfaithful men for a long time. There, he says only the following sentence: "In this village, there is at least a single man who is unfaithful". Will this one sentence make a difference? if yes, what difference and why.
all the men will be killed. up to this point women have thought that the angel would also tell them about their own husbands cheating. by knowing that at least one man has cheated and his wife did not know, they will all assume that their husband is cheating and will kill him. or maybe they kill the angel
Wrong. Why would they kill their husbands? ---> all of them KNOW already that there is at least one cheating man in the village. The angel told them about all the men, except their own , so in principle the man of god gave no new information! The women of the village kill their husbands only when they are sure beyond any doubt that they were cheated. Assume that the women are not paranoid and smart.

no. the men are stationary: they just screw their wives and sometimes other men's wives they don't speak with anybody, not even their own wives. they don't kill anybody. they don't care. only women can do the killing: they must kill only their own husband at the same day when they came to be 100% sure that they cheated. They will be killed all in the same day becuase all women will find in the same day. They wont be killed becuase when the angel come for the last time which is 21 it would be late. "In this village, there is at least a single man who is unfaithful". It means the angel came for the 21 time. Why? to make it simple lets assume there 2 cheater and all females knows the 2 cheaters wheres 2 females knows 1 cheater. 1. The angle came the first time and told the 1st female about the second female husband. Then the second woman would not know that her husband is a cheater. 2. The angles came the second time and told the second female about the 1st female husband. Then the 1st woman would not know that her husband is a cheater. So if he came 2 times only non of the females would know that her husband is cheating so he has to come for the 3rd time. In your example there are 20 females and 20 males and 20 females already knew 19 of the males which mean he came 20 times, so the last time he came was the 21 and which make each of the 20 women knows the 20 cheaters.
