HTTP 500 error in IE when test IIS

    Hello all
    Yesterday I install IIS on winxp. But when I test this IE gives me error HHTP 500 internal server Error . wht shud i do?

    Why did you post this in databases? When you are testing, what URL are you trying to access?

    Hi
    I was supose to submit this thred in server& site admin but by mistake it happens in the database. Anyway when i give URL http://localhost
    then IE gives me that error........

    Hi, I see you've opened a new thread for this, but unfortunately this is the wrong category:p

    Well anyway, more info would be helpful. Turn off friendly http errors in internet explorer & post the detailed error here.
