Windows XP is still great but if one wishes to upgrade to a higher version just like Windows 7, one must do something about system compatibility. If you are only a regular computer user then I suggest upgrading is not that necessary.
I always loved Windows 98 and felt that it could last forever, but then came XP along and changed my perspective.
Nice to see that some people are still talking about Windows 98. To the topic, I love to work with RH Linux AS 4 a lot.

Windows 7. I finally took the leap after using Windows XP for YEARS. I always hated Vista, but so far Windows 7 is definately worth the wait, and upgrade over XP. I recommend it to everyone.
I am stuck with windows XP since ages and wish to upgrade to Windows 7 but have just learned that my trading software becomes a bit unstable at times on it.... So I guess, I would have to wait for a while! Regards, RightMan
which trading software?? btw, I am still using XP on my desktops.... I bought a new PC last month and I asked the dealer to give me XP and not the newer versions. I have a laptop with Vista, but don't really like it.

Hope your making at least $1k a week on each system or there is absoloutly no point in that what so ever.
Or may be I'm one of those IT students, who want to learn as many OS' in order to clutter them up in their "CV" to make it more "attractive" (at least from the employers point of view)
