Zelune is really as dead as a dodo and Jorge05, who announced to produce an alternative or successor to Glype seems to have disappeared.

    Long live the king!

@Aquarezz Whats the use of creating many proxy sites instead of just focusing on one? This question was bogging me for a long time. Will be happy if I get a good answer for this.

If you are able to rely on just viral marketing, its possible to keep your proxy unblocked. Just set a password to it and have no search engine robots visit it at all. Even web filters can't bypass login pages. For even more power, put up a site with some education related content on the homepage and add in SSL and dedicated IP. It will keep your proxy 99% unblocked. If you are lucky, the web filters will classify your proxy as education category and some .edu sites may even link to you. ;)

I'm doing it on another way. I'm just creating 50-75 proxies (.info) promote them through lists and collect emails for my newsletter. Than after 1-2 months I'm redirecting all those proxies to one 'better' proxy. At the moment I'm doing this for my Unblock Facebook proxy. :D

If you work on just 1 proxy, it can do better than many. At a certain point, you get so many visitors that the amount that get blocked means nothing.

My hosting account was up for about 2 days and then it went down. Can't access cpanel..nothing. It's amazing, these hosts are quick to respond initially then no communication. 6 unanswered support tickets over the last several days.

Techentrance.com is the best proxy hosting ever. I can guarantee that you will never have any serious downtime problems with them (I never had one in my long time with them). I don't know if they even have downtime.
