Yeah, or stick them in the garden. They must be upper class :) In my younger days calling someones parents cause they were drunk was as bad as grassing to the police on someone.

well...i personally don't use any illegal drugs. And for the record last time i drinked some alcohol was by new year time. Still, i think it's better to get drunk at the age of 15 and know what it feels to be sure that you don't do it a couple of years later and end your night in a plastic bag after a car crash. Also i smoked pot once and it sucks pretty bad, but i don't like to critizice thing that i don't know about. Every other drug i think it's just a waste.
And if you wonder how do i feel about illegal drugs use, i think everyone can do whatever with their lives. If someone uses, let's say, cocaine because somebody says "it's cool" or that kind of stuff, i'm totally against it. now if someone uses cocain knowing that it will turn his brain in a ball of ice cream and he will get fat, or have breath and heart problems, etc. It's cool, what everyone does with their body is not my problem.
Now, call me idiotic or whatever, but if i say "something is cool", it's a basic human right to have freedom of speech, you could say just "i disagree" and it's better to get hard on someone just because he thinks different.

Peace! (btw: first time i write that at the bottom of a post, and it looks so bad, but it helps to denote that i'm not interested in having problems or offend anyone  )

    Okay.

So, if your best friend decided they wanted to use heroin or cocaine, for example, knowing how dangerous those drugs are and the type of damage it can cause... you'd say, "Sure buddy, go right on ahead and f*** yourself up man. It's your life!"

You know, since what everyone does with their body isn't your problem.

I'm not quite the USA legal drinking age, and I don't plan on drinking--even when I do get that age. Not just because of health reasons, but also because I don't want to risk losing my license for a few years. It's just not worth it for a few brain-wasting drinks.

if two drunks can ruin the party, then the party was lame. the atmosphere should be such that no one cares if two ideots are passed out in their own puke on the floor.

No-one likes it when some drunkard is blowing chunks all over the place but slinging them out the door and telling them to piss off would've solved the problem.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Only 2 people puking is a pretty settled down party. I think what you had was a gathering or some family reunion and those guys came to the wrong place thinking they are going to party hard.

Ponynugget, you'll meet those two drunk idiots not only when you're underaged, you'll meet them when you're 18, when you're 21, when you're 25 and when you're 45, idiots come and go but they never disappear

I never discouraged drinking or drugs. I even introduce all these young studs who think drinking n drugs is how you become cool to "drug people". Let them drink. Let them get high.

I don't drink or smoke. I just like watching all these people waste away their lifes, ruining life on stupid things. It gives me great pleasure :D

It was more than just a couple of guys spilling their guts. A few people were really concerned that Moron A would stop breathing.

Turns out he did go to hospital right after the party... Apparently his temperature dropped down to 33 degrees!

He might of started drinking a bit late. This is a good wake up call to him to realise that you have to control your drinking limits. Underage drinking isnt a problem at all, If you do it with intentions of having a good time once in a while its great. You learn your limit early on and stay safe in the future.

Actually i have a couple of friends who smoke marijuana on saturday nights, and they know the effects, they know i don't likem the to do it, but they like to, so i'm ok with that.
Different situation i had with a "friend" who was a complete addict: marijuana, cocain, extasis, basically every drug out there, and far from knowing the effects, he kept saying that he wasn't addicted (even though drugs were his breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday) and that drugs didn't cause him any damage, and that "i should try them". Of course i tried to help him out, my other friends too, but it was no use.

If your friends smoke on the weekends its great. There is no problem with that as they are showing that they have priorities before that and it wont cause any issues such as wasting your time smoking weed all day instead of doing work, school ect..

I know people who smoke and drink, i don't personally but i ain't got a problem with them doing it. I told them to stop smoking weed but if they don't wanna listen its not my problem.
As for drinking i don't mind people doing that as some people need it to let loose/unwind and have a good time and a laugh.
I've seen some wasted people in my time though sometimes its well funny and sometimes its not when they got the risk of choking on their own vomit.

The problem with underage drinking is that most of the people who particpate in it are idiots.
Drinking is part of western social behaviour, if you don't like it thats tough but a large problem we have (I am speaking from UK perspective here) is that too mnay yougsters see beeing drunk as a benchmark. When I walk around my local town centre and see 60% of the people around me are 16-18 and completely drunk it discusts me. Lack of self control and blaming it on 'being cool' is stupid and no-one seems to be doing anything about the problem other than waving a finger on TV.
I really enjoying going down town with my friends and having a drink but I rarely get so drunk I can't walk or talk. A balance needs to be maintained and youth culture needs to understand that not only are they causing their bodies serious harm, but they are fueling crime by being easier victims and comitting it themselves.

Good point. I think that society is under estimating the amount of damage teens can cause.

In Sydney, underage drinking isn't as strictly enforced as I'd like it to be. Just an example; a party was held by a girl in my grade a few months back. The police rocked up around midnight since they had been receiving calls from complaining neighbours. They saw that there was alcohol at the party but did nothing other than tell them that they're very naughty children and to have a good night.

I mean what's the go? It seems that all the almight law enforcers care about is selling drinks to people under 18. Once it's in their hands though, they don't do anything!
