Hey guys, I'm currently using Nokia 6220c which had quite good features but the built quality very poor and so m looking to buy a new phone.. preferably Nokia but any other company would do... Have a max budget of Rs. 15,000 ($325) I have seen 2 phones within my budget ... Nokia 5800 and Nokia N79 ... liked N79 a lot but still i need some reviews also.. want to see more mobiles... I need a phone with good camera ... Music Player isn't important for me as I have Zune to listen to music... Lets hear it then... need ur help guys... please suggest something good Thanks
You should go with N79 only if you have to use it. Its good for internet usage as well as got 5MP camera. And if you have to just show it then 5800. touch screens are not that much good if you have to use them a lot. as you will have to use your both hands in it. - Mr.President -
I have Nokia XpressMusic 5800 - and its awesome ! It has an okay camera, I put a Micro SD 8GB memory card, that is quite enough, It works on Symbian of course, it has a good processor, and I don't get any errors or problems. And the Music Player! OMG! I has the most beautiful sound system... The speakers are settled perfectly awesome on the phone, and even if your music is low quality, it manages to play it out amazing, and believe me when I tell ya, I am strictly for a hd sound The N79 is also good, I have nothing bad about it to say, but between Nokia N79 & Nokia 5800 I would ALWAYS pick 5800. I recommend you get the N79 because it's good for surfing on the Internet. Furthermore, it has a 5 MP camera as Digital_Shubhi said
Nokia 5800 good if you want to go with touchscreen else go with N79. BTW by any chance if you want to go with other brand then check out Samsung as well. DON.
Would love some Suggestions on other companies too... Samsung and Sony Ericsson are fine too... I will not be using the Music Player on the mobile much as I already have MS Zune 80 GB for that purpose... mostly I need to phone for Camera and Messaging ... which I think i'd find hard to do it in 5800... Any more suggestions plz...
If you are looking for specific Camera purpose then go with SE instead of Samsung as its result is not good as SE (tested both). DON.
Nokia 6303 Classic is the best classic mobile that you can find now on market. I really like it and recommend.

N79 is a good choice as Music Player isn't important for you, 5800 is a Music Phone. Also you can try Nokia 6600 e, launched recently that also looks good.
as it seems you dont need a music player going for 5800xm is somewhat useless. nokia N79 has a good camera,battery life and internet capabilities. if you are looking specifically for camera only go look into sony ericsson mobile yaari or other cybershot series of it. if you just need internet capabilities samsung star wifi ones(also there is 3g separate one) or even samsung corby is good.best thing both of them are touchscreens comes under rs10k and has quite good cam for its price. i still think you should go for N79 as you seem to love nokia(by your post i am saying.just my thought)

Last week I bought the Samsung Tocco Lite. Samsung are the only mobile provider I haven't been with, and it's the best (and cheapest) phone I've had. Cost me £79 (about $130 I think).
