Yahoo goes down a spot

    Not sure if this was mentioned before but just realized that Yahoo.com is now ranked alexa 3.
    http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/yahoo.com

    Before this they were number one but Google took that spot and Yahoo drop to number 2. Now yahoo is number 3.

    Facebook takes the number 2 spot. crazy stuff

    About a month ago now. It's alexa though so who knows, but still impressive.

    Yahoo still holds the #1 spot in a fair number of countries. Which isn't too bad at all.

    Facebook is surely gaining ground in terms of popularity and so it is bound to get in the top list but overtaking Yahoo is surely a bit surprising!

    Btw...at what number is bing and twitter in the list? :confused:

    yes facebook is gaining advantage from India now, that may be the reason why Facebook is at No. 2 now. But I love Yahoo, its HomePage gives a lot of information at a time.

    Yahoo needs to clean things up a bit. Their home page is cluttered and ever changing. A nice, new, clean, look might help. Looks old school.

    yahoo bans websites just because of link exchange or being affiliate websites. It has refused a lot of professional webmasters' traffic.

    well, cant say this was unpredicted. Facebook is making history. First social network to climb up to that spot.
    But yahoo has different APIS too.
    Regarding twitter...it might climb up in coming years too. lets see what happens.
    But if someday somethign beats google...damn...i wnna witness that day XD
