howdy, your site is simple but i think it's perfect. it's not too flashy but it's artful. If you still want to improve it, maybe you can experiment by adding a background theme or colors but as it is, i think it's cool...
I know I'm using thesis theme. I probably should get custom theme, but thesis is such easy theme to customize, and SEO friendly as well.
The top navigation isn't clear. The Home link almost looks like it's not part of the nav menu. At first glance, I thought it was the subtitle for site, located as it is under the name and not extending the width of the window. I would also give some breathing room on top of the breadcrumb navigation.
