The Scar Solution - Brand New CB Product - Zero Competition in a Huge Niche

Yea, you'll find that 2/1 OFS is actually pretty good. Im an affiliate for several products and I've had rates waaay high than that.

My top affiliate sends most of his traffic from the Phillipines, Africa, India, etc which probably is what leads to the low OFS/sale ratio. Something about foreign credit cards I would assume.

I encourage my affiliates and any potential affiliates to ignore assholes who blatantly plagiarize other peoples products and to support the original author(s).

The Scar Secret is damn near a word for word copy of my product and sales page. The images on the site are copyrighted by other corporations and are being used illegally. Don't support plagiarism, in my case or any other.

Yah, I knew it would happen eventually but its still infuriating.

I spent months working on this product & page and he basically copy and pasted it. He even copied my bonus product! That's just lazy.

But ya I know the internet is a free-for-all when it comes to information products. I'm still going to do what I can to defend my work.

 

Well. I must say that if this product really turns out to be a shameless copycat, I'll spare no efforts in aiding to expose it as a fraud.

One day I'd like to take my spin at vendorship myself, so I have a clear notion of how utterly annoying this copycat issue must be.

People, why are you so quick to judge without actually verifying that the claims by the Scar Solution are true? He is afraid he will lose his affiliates to a superior product and is therefore spouting spurious claims. The Scar Solution currently has a monopoly on the scar niche and is trying to bully out the little guy with malicious and entirely false rants so they can continue to operate without competition.

If you want to see a real thief, compare the layout from The Scar Solution with http://www.mafiawarswizard.com which is owned by another CB user. Html template stolen and edited blatantly.

Therefore affiliates, if you would like to earn with a real legitimate CB vendor who actually cares about his affiliates and rewards them with higher payouts (75% of $49.97) then just promote The Scar Secret (www.thescarsecret.com)

You "superior product" is nothing but a copy of mine and you know it. You can't deny it. You even copied my bonus product dude.

Saying I stole my site from Mafia Wars Cheater doesn't even make sense. They're not similar in any way. You just have nothing else to say because you know you're wrong.

Oh and since you're so "legitimate" I'm going to go ahead and notify all the other companies that you've stolen their before and after pictures and are presenting them as if they are your own. Enjoy!

Sales page and price point split tested and proven to convert, see screenshots for proof. This product is 100% original and legal, unlike some competing products. No stolen content, just an authentic and effective product.

 

If your competition is offering 75% why would you not offer the same, affiliates don't really care who stole what product, they will promote what gets the most conversions or makes them the most commission.

 

I may in the future. I'm not going to change anything to accommodate to a "competitor" who stole my hard work.

I spent months on this product, researching, writing, split testing, promoting, etc. My product is proven to convert, and the commissions are still higher than this other clown.

I understand many people don't care if a product is of poor quality, stolen, or illegal, but to be honest, I don't mind not having those people as affiliates. I prefer to run my CB products as a legitimate business, legally and ethically.

 

Regardless of your sentiments there is a reason that the majority of big vendors offer 75%.......all that ends up happening is that down the road you change your % to 75% to try and get more affiliates that are already promoting the competitors products.....I know your pissed about his product and he's been blatantly caught lying about his "non photoshopped" images when they so blatantly are so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he just stole your work.

Lol, that guy does seem to have a remarkable nerve. With this degree of rethorics I don't see why he'd need to usurp someone else's work, but all evidence indicates he has indeed done just that.

@Terryd: If we were talking about a top-dollar product such as earth4energy, I would agree the author should indeed get a lawyer, but for something in this niche, he would probably spend more money with legal persecution than he has actually earned from selling the e-book.

Furthermore, wouldn't you agree Clickbank should take this matter into their own hands? I haven't seen the scar Secret yet (since the "author" utterly disregarded my requests for a review copy), but if he did such a sloppy re-write in the actual e-book as he did on the sales page, there's a good chance that full paragraphs in the book remain exactly like the original.

 

i think clickbank would be involved in this somehow. just submit a DMCA, follow the guidelines and pursue it. Unfortunately, I believe the most the other vendor will do is just reword their salesletter (if found 'guilty').

A small slap on the wrist... but i think that's the most that would happen.

 

I am doing what I can to make sure that this kind of behavior doesn't go unpunished. It's not even the money I care about, it's the principle. I'm not making loads of money on this product, not even close. I just hate the fact that this kind of thing happens and people get away with it.

That's the last I'm going to speak of it. I don't want any more undeserved attention coming to this person.

 

Im actually thinking of making a cellulite cure website aswell. How would you feel about that?

 

@CBank: I don't suppose he'd mind unless you re-write his cellulite book and pass it as your own work... like you apparently did with the scar removal book.

Speaking of which, can I see a review copy of your scar product? If you haven't ripped off his work, I'll be happy to divulge your innocence to the four winds and maybe even promote your product as an alternative to the scar solution.

 

I have no problem with you making any website or product as long as its your own work. If you steal from me, which you clearly have, then we have problems. Go away.

 

I would just like to know about the authenticity of the product . Is it really working and how many actual sales done till now
