Hi, i'm new here...do not have a signature yet with links to my site since today. Although looking to my links within 'yahoo site explorer' last week...i already had links from my previous posts here on this forum..how come?
You must cross 7 days in DP and have minimum of 10 post commented here so as to avail the "SIGNATURE" feature here. Good luck.
what i meant was, i had "inlinks" from this forum, before i had a signature!!!! how is this possible?
It's more beneficial to link to two separate pages, rather then both to your homepage, by the way. Just a sidenote, though.
yes right...never thought bout this thanx... still i don't understand, how i had inlinks, without having a signature.
Maybe you posted a reply with your website URL? I'm not sure, but it looks like you're just trying to boost your post count to be eligible to have a signature. Just saying... Yugo,
Maybe you added your site to your profile, info, about me page. Like you didn't have any in your signature, but they were in your account info like homepage or something. So when you post a question or reply the bots follow your member link to your profile/info etc. I know some other vbull sites do this. They don't allow signatures, but if in my account info if I put my homepage I still get a backlink for any post or reply.
maybe you could be right. now i see all my links in "yahoo site explorer". but my linkslist in google-webmastersection is 6 times shorter....i don't get it, is google that slow? also when i make some sitechanges, bing & yahoo follow quick, but tru google it takes ages.
You've put a link in your profile, that's the link that's showing up. And Google only shows a small selection of the links it knows about as policy. You can see more after you've registered at Google Webmaster tools, but even this may not be the entire backlink profile that Google knows about, and isn't updated in real time.
First try to read what he ask and then try to answer the question. He said that he did not put signature link on DP forum, but even he got backlink from here. I think you have put your link here somewhere.
