Trouble with submitting articles

I ordered Article Submission from a company online that had a high organic ranking for "link building services" they submitted 3 of my articles to 300 article directories. All of the articles pointed right back to my main domain. The issue is, they did this all in one day. What is your experience with this and will i get penalized for having so many links pointing to me in such a short period of time?

I don't use article directories or mass submission tools. Write an article and post it on ezinearicles, articlebase, article monkey or other popular sites and revise a version for your own site as a content builder. If your articles are good or useful, they will be picked up (with link) by other sites and blogs who need content.

No, that's not nearly enough to catch any filters. What if my wine club were featured in the newspaper? I could reasonably expect 1000 links from that. Unless we're talking 20,000 links in a day I wouldn't worry about it.

    Hi,
Don't worry it's not a big deal. As stated above there are lots of directories, take a lot of time to approve your submission. When they will approved, it will count on back links.

Its not a great issue, becoz you were using different article directories, not a single one to post all your articles. so don need to worry.

What you need to understand is the article originated from somewhere, and where ever that article was posted at, and indexed first, they will get the credit for the unique content. With that stated I really do not feel it is going to hurt you to get your article posted on several different article submission directories (for several reasons below) as long as they allow the following:

    * Some-kind of link to your site (so in-case certain people use certain article directories over others you have more exposure and chance of people clicking on your website). So its a traffic thing, if you think you can get traffic from it, and you are not so worried about SEO, then do it - it could be a good thing!
    * Some will allow anchor text inside the article and some will not. The ones that will allow the anchor text be sure to anchor up some of your best keywords because that will help gain an edge over the articles that do not allow this.
    * Do they allow a “BIO” section? If they will allow you to put a signature in every article you post then you can make this area unique for each article posted and anchor up a different keyword, or link to a different deeper page of your website.
    * Do they give you a static URL that you can then promote, link to, pass page rank, and traffic to in other ways? (tag at del.icio.us, or save to Yahoo My Web for example)

Yes. In the sense that 10 per day for a month would be 3 times better, then you got shorted. But, ya get what ya get. Steady growth gets you farther than spurts. But few people have the time.

Never use automated submissions and trick to build links in shorted time. Be natural and organic while doing link building of any of your SEo project, it is essential and good for your online revenue. Being gray hats is better sometimes than doing pure black hats. Submitting articles into 20 major article directories is good rather into 300.. So be unique in content and do it in ethical ways...
    Cheers..:)

I don't use automated software to send my articles, it's better to submit it manually to make sure that the article was submitted at the right category.

But is it okay to submit the same content to hundreds of article directories? I think i'll be penalized for duplicate content. Is it possible?

In my view dont submit lots of articles in one day because its like a link farming. and link farming is bad in search engine view.

I would stay away from article submission services and instead write an article yourself once a week and submit to 3 or 4 top article sites such as Ezine Articles. Unless you write yourself there is a risk that the 3 articles you paid for might already be atributed to someone else, in which case they are no good to you
