You are asking if they can be trusted, yet you haven't given a reason why you are asking such a question.

For example: If you have had problems, maybe there is a reason, and it can be answered here.

Your first post you are having doubts. Posts later you say that they can be trusted according to a poster's "statement." Later on you then say "this can be a problem for me." Now, all of a sudden, you "agree" that they are good.

Make up your mind.

Another waste of a thread started by a noob who doesn't know up from down.

 

I love Paypal, I have been using them for years with only one problem. They froze my account once, just when I had to urgently make a payment but it was quickly fixed. Other than that, it provides a great service and has much cheaper fees than my bank.

yep, paypal is safe and no problem to me at all, don't forget the phishing site, there are a lot of phishing site like paypal want your username and password to hack into account and withdraw the money from the real site, make sure the url has https:// [COLOR="Red"][B]not[/B][/COLOR] http://... hope it helps

We are new in Ebay, and just sign up for Paypal. We are asking our webmaster to put in "We accept Paypal". He said he is professional in web business, he said people mainly using Ebay to buy low price item, it doesnot work selling item like ours. We are selling a S$1880/- Piwater Energised Filtration Sytem at fixed cost. Is it true that it is difficult to sell item like our product in the web/ebay?

He also doubt the security of the paypal or Ebay. He asked if people place an order with you, he paid using visa card through paypal. And we as seller, has seen the money transaction at our account with Paypal, so we send the buyer the stock. Can the buyer by cheat by complaining he did not receive the stock, and he cancel the transaction with the visa company after he has taken the stock? Can some one who are experience telling me the answer, because I don't know whether these probelm do exist?

I feel that he thought that I never try to buy and sell anything in the ebay, and I just simply recommend it to my company!

 

Yeah PAYPAL is trusted i am using it since long back.
You may Open it. There are also lots of account other then Paypal.

they seem good and their fees keep them happy so i dont see why not. I do hate their customer support though

 

Been with PayPal since 2004 and have only ever had one problem with them and that was when someone managed to gain access to my account last year and withdrew over $200 into their own account.

I contacted PayPal and within a couple of days my money was returned to me and the guy was having legal charges pressed against him by PayPal for fraud.

 

Paypal is used by such a large amount of users and its also accepted as a payment gateway by many online shops so we can easily trust it

100% I have been sending and receivig money through them for well over 5 years and not one problem. Wish i could say the same about my credit card companies i deal with on a regular.

Paypal is certainly trustworthy, the problem is that paypal transactions can, to my knowledge, be revoked under certain circumstances...so I'd be careful when accepting large sums via paypal.
