How can I install Vista + XP?

I have two partitions in my 500 GB hard disk. One is 450 GB and I have Vista installed on that one. The other one is 15 GB and I tried to install Windows XP on that one but the first time I rebooted the machine after installation it froze. I had to repair the startup on the Vista installation to boot the machine again. Wasn't able to boot the XP installation after that. Any idea of what I did wrong? Another thing. My motherboard supports virtualization technology. I'm not sure how it works. Can somebody explain to me how it works and what it's supposed to do??

virtualization is a technology by which you can install an OS inside another OS, but i dont know how it is related with the motherboard......?. Visit virtualbox.org/ for more info....!

That's what suppose to happen and that was what I expected to happen but it didn't. The machine froze by the time the operating system was supposed to load. I know it was a boot file error because the machine was able to boot after I repaired the start up problem but I wasn't able to see XP installation after that.

On Windows 7, you can get the virtual pc with windows xp mode, which is going to be a lot better than virtualbox. If you don't want to do that, you can use VMWare which is the best virtual pc on the market.

It really isn't that hard! Just install XP on one disk first, and then using the other partition go through the vista install, vista will automatically make the dual booting menu for you!

I would say the 15GB partition is too small for unpacking the files and for installation.
