one of my ad campaign on google adwords made 27 clicks and 6473 impressions on a single day, but no money was flown to my clickbank account. What could be the problem.. advise pleasee
Well, in order for money to fly into your CB account you first need to make sales--which you obviously did not (unless you botched up your affiliate URLs). And be happy, my Google campaigns aren't even making impressions anymore all of a sudden. At least you're still alive and kicking, for now. Good luck.
Aj22, maybe your keywords are inactive for search. Spandiat, thats pretty normal, improve your website better to persuade the visitors into buying the CB stuff. Also make sure the people are coming from relevant keywords are genuinely interested in making purchases. IT
I'm wondering at what point alarm bells start ringing. Say you had 77 clickthroughs instead of 27, and still no sales. Maybe that would be the time to overhaul your entire website or (if you're an affiliate like me) look for a new merchant to send people to...
Conversion rates from targeted traffic of 1% or less are common with ClickBank products, so I'd be worried if I hadn't seen a sale within 200 clicks, and I wouldn't draw any firm conclusion about how well a product / sales page converts on anything less than 1000 clicks. Anything less than that is too prone to daily fluctuations.
Just curious.. with this 2-3% conversion rate are you sending visitors direct to the vendor's page, or to your own landing page first?
I'm curious... 1000 clicks @ 10cents each is 100 dollars, what do you have to advertise in order to get profit out of this rate? ...mmmh maybe Porsches?
Really? that sucks, I bet google made some money out of it. Is google the best option to choose then?
The 1000 clicks is what I recommend as a minimum to make an informed decision on how well a product / sales page converts overall, as it is enough to flatten out any statistical fluctuations. The conversion rate I suggested would be typical was 1%, which equates to $10 spend at $.10 per click, and will provide you with a VERY lucrative business promoting any number of products. Nice 2nd post BTW!
Hey friend, it seems that you CTR is horrendous at first almost 0% CTR that means your ad may need revising and or your landing page....make sure your landing page is directly associated with your ad and the "clickee" doesn't have to find where you want them to go according to the ad. I think that your ad is probably just not good enough consider revising it.
If you're linking directly to the vendor's page, make sure that they have a good landing page! If not, you will HAVE to make your own landing page! One time, I got like 600 clicks on Adwords, straight to the vendor's page, and no sales. Now, I'm 99% sure that it was because the landing page was not good at selling.
