What I notice about Adsense compared to other Pay Per Clicks.

I have been using Chitika and Vibrant intellitxt since I took adsense down for a couple of days im trying to test out these other ad companies.

Well what I noticed is Adsense you get Way More clicks but lower pay per click or varied pay per click depending on the niche.

I have a Sports niche that covers, Basketball,Boxing,Football, etc

When I had Adsense on I was getting plenty of clicks a day but the revenue was very little.

When I used Chitika I got less clicks but I earned more for 20 clicks then I did with 20 clicks for adsense.

    20 clicks for Chitika I earned $ 3.26, 20 clicks for Adsense I earned $0.75 cents.

Now with Vibrant I earn even more per click then with Chitika, but I have even less clicks I have a total of 7 clicks and earned $1.25 cents but it seems odd that I would have such low clicks when intext ads usually get clicked a lot on my site.

I dont like the way Vibrant or Chitika does their revenu meter because its like they can automatically deduct the high paying click if they feel like it.

Since they do not update clicks immediately, that is an advantage Google Adsense has they update your impressions, clicks and revenue often so you know how much you are getting every 10 to 20 minutes.

I will keep trying other Ad companies to see which one I will use as an alternative.

I just do not like how Vibrant and Chitika do not do immediate updates you have to wait 24 hours before seeing how much clicks and revenue you made, to me that seems a bit shady like they can pick or choose how much to give you.

I think what matters most is at the end of the day how much earnings you get for the same amount of traffic. Plus you can mix adsense and other ad networks on the same page as long as the others don't look the same as adsense.

wont that make the ads competitive and you might get less clicks for adsense or less for chitika?

I was thinking of just putting my adsense ads in article only and the Chitika on the sides.

Well chitika premium ads only display for visitors who come directly from search engine and that are from canada and US. So they won't show and don't take any space for all other visitors, such as those who visit your site after their first visit from search engien as well as those not from those countries.
Also, what I did on my site is that no matter what, chitika premium ads are displayed AFTER the first adsense block, so that they won't take much, if any, clicks out of adsense. Also, you can have two chitika blocks, one in the central column and one in the sidebar, with different formats.
Chitika earnings are really just a side meal compared to adsense earnings, they pay via paypal unlike adsense so it can be used to fill in your paypal account in order to pay for hosting and online services without having to use your credit card.
But continue your experiment and please report the results, especially gross earnings, because that's all that matters to me and to many people, is how much money I can make with this ad network and that amount of traffic.

    thank you!

hopefully some day I can get to your level.

I am using Chitika just for side ads, but I will use Vibrant for intext, so far Vibrant intellitxt today earned me 2.97 just for 9 clicks! so thats good

Do you know if Infolinks is better than Vibrant?

I am going back and forth in my head if I should try infolinks? but my friend told me not to be impatient and stick with Vibrant intellitxt for at least a month and than try infolinks.

I never tried vibrant because long time ago I heard they asked for a lot of impressions and I didn't have any english website with traffic. Now I have a few, but I believed they asked for a lot of impressions, and in fact I haven't looked at their website for years.
I only tried infolinks recently because I kept reading from them saying they pay better than kontera and finally I wanted to test their claim which happens to be true in my experience.
So I didn't try vibrant yet.

We use chitika on several of our premium portals and yes they only display for search engine traffic from US or Canada. We have noticed however that their clicks pay much lower then adsense. We are in higher paying keyword group including financial sites. Chitika pays up to 50% or 70% lower per click then adsense. We are still testing though and have fallback setup for adsense ( in case direct visits are made ). My question to you is, are you just using vibrant intext or any of their other products. We might be interested in seeing how it stacks up against adsense. So far Chitika has been disappointment for us though.

I think Vibrant allows international traffic now, also they got a new deal with BING microsoft or something.

I have a questions about infolinks do you have to have it on your main site or can you put it on other channels without having it on your main site? Google adsense allows you to sign up for adsense with 1 site but you can add it to different channels regardless of traffic and remove it from your main site. I am wondering if info links allows this.

Does infolinks update often or do you have to wait the next day to see how much you earned?

The thing I do not like with Vibrant is they do not update very well, that is the advantage Google adsense has over those other ppc sites.

Infolinks doesn't update very fact either, one or two days delay. And each site you want to display infolinks on you need to add them in your account and they will be approved or denied, like kontera.

well are you from the united states?

Vibrant does pay way more per click but the problem is the updates are late, they don't have quick updates.

Vibrant pays pretty good and I have a sports niche so im guessing if you have a financial or high paying keyword group you will get even more per click then me.

:( that sucks, I guess this is why Google is still the King because you can add any site and put any adds on them regardless of traffic the site could be fresh and new and they still allow it once you have an account.

what is the maximum and minimum you made with info links for a day?

I didn't run the experiment for long enough, but in the first week it made $35 with a CPC of $0.14
I'll let the experiment run for this month of december and will have better data.

What I'd like with infolinks is the ability to do like with adsense: infolinks revenue sharing. So that my users can put their infolink id and share the revenue with me. But I don't think it is possible if they set one website for one user. It needs to be simple like adsense or chitika.

For me Adsense and Chitika are the best...the only downside for Chitika is they do not allow international traffic.

If Chitika allowed international traffic It would be awesome.

Why can't you test in these lines...

    - Google + Chitika
    - Chitika + Vibrant
    - Google + Vibrant

This can probably increase your revenue. Do let us know.
