New website, big amount of impressions

Hello to all on this forum. Since I'm new to this forum and Adsense, I would like to ask you few questions. Some friends told me to open a website and we will exchange hardlinks. And I did that. I made website, and put Adsense ads on it. And first day was about 40k impressions, and next day there was already 140k impressions. I must add that I exchanged hardlinks with lot of websites (10+), and I want to ask if this is ok with adsense, or I violate some adsense TOS? I was looking for an answer on their support forum but I didn't find it. Can anyone please help me? Thx in forward. Regards

There's nothing wrong with exchanging links if you aren't buying traffic. Just some websites are iffy that you want to exchange links with.

Thats fine, I would wait for the site to build a little and be a little older and then apply adsense.

Generally speaking, buying traffic WILL get you flagged and eventually banned from Adsense. It's almost never a good idea, even if the traffic you're going to buy is 'human traffic'.

Of course there may be traffic sellers who have bought so good scripts that it's impossible for Google to discover that the traffic isn't genuine but if you ask me, I wouldn't take the risk.

So everything is ok eventhough site is maybe few days old? Btw one more question, if I have exchanged traffic, everything is ok, but if I for example buy traffic, that is not ok? what about if someone redirects traffic from his site to mine? is that ok? Thx a lot for all answers, appreciate it

Why not? Is it against Adsense TOS maybe?

You are telling me a brand new site, you received real human 40k impression on first day just from 10+ backlinks from BIG sites, and what are those BIG sites? I am staying on topic, why else would I comment about this.

They'd have to be VERY big sites to get that kind of traffic on day 1

    Sounds like bought traffic

I will take off the Adsense, and let the exchnaged traffic run for 1 month consistently before i put in the adsense, and of course, have quality contents.

The sudden influx of traffic is just going to raise flag, G might come in for a manual check, you dont want both your site and your fren's site for being penalized.

Getting 40k impression on new website in first week will raise red flag, eventually getting you banned from Adsense. Even someone redirects traffic to your website is not safe if it is coming in bulk. I have only on e Google account getting me bread and butter, can't take chance to apply this idea.

Exchanging links brings relevant traffic and is a good thing to do.

As far as you are not doing anything against their TOS its good to get good traffic to your site, nothign to worry about it.
