My experience with google crawl

I have been working on many site for few past years i noticed some behaviors of googlebots & like to share them here

When i had lets say 10 pages site i laid my link outside to get bots find new site....when Google bot found it initially it crawled index pages and slowly all pages...hence all my pages were included without further link building....this was true with one recent client's website ....for whom i did little SEO work (this site was hosted in different server)

Now more recently i saw changes in Google's behaviors i am not sure if is due to my web server..observation is ;

Google crawl index pages when first time I create single backlink outside. then trouble starts Google do not include more pages or hardly 10 % of total pages...i waited for long-long times but no changes in numbers of listed pages....uhh

But when i place backlinks for those individual pages Google comes and include them too..it always happens..

Do need to specify backlinks for all mypages?...all this i have shared is nothing to do with website ranking with keywords ...just about crawling...

Please share your opinion whether this is some kind of anomaly or normal

 

Google love deep linking, it is much better to link your inner pages.

yups.. Internal linking is better for SEO purposes.

 

Its recommended to do link building for internal pages as well.

But I think Google would crawl all your pages no matter what.

 

Build all types of links, you can see the result, google love the diversity.

 

yes, this is true now google requires deep linking

 

Yes, I would suggest you the same thing, do have your internal pages inter linked well using the keywords pointing to your homepage and for appropriate pages. But have the integrity and consistency of the links by using the same and relevant keywords in anchors for desired page.
