When 301 is active, is it not possible to remove the URL through GWT..?

    Please tell me When 301 is active, is it not possible to remove the URL through Google Webmaster Tools..?

    Google is quite slow in this process of updating database sometimes. I would say keep the original page with 301 for a at least a month then delete it. Before you delete it just make sure its not indexed anymore.

    Yes, I have tried also but it was not possible. After deactivate 301 you can remove URL via GWT.

    How much time google takes for action on 301, i mean if i had given 301 to some urls in htaccess, so after how much time the new urls will 100% renamed and indexed..?
