Twitterfeed is Easy but Twitter Traffic Sucks in General. Use Facebook for Blog Promotion because you Can Easily connect with Other bloggers and it's Quite Easy to Ask your Facebook Friends to Link to you Rather than Emailing 100's of Bloggers

Promote option in Orkut is good and you can make your friends aware of your blog. Stumbleupon, Digg and Reddit are good sites to promote your site. Reddit sometimes earns you a couple of visitors sometimes!

There are a number of ways to promote your blog some free some paid. The free methods would be to write articles for eza and link your articles to the blog. You can also use rss feeds and web 2.0 sites. Onlywire.com is a good way to get some free traffic. The main thing is keeping the visitors you get which is done by quality content.

hmm if you write great articles the visitors will come to your blog with no invitation. Write articles, post them to biggest forum for seo (if you have a blog for seo) and comment to biggest blog's (here you can find a list of them: http://www.winningtheweb.com/im-top-blogs/)

Easy means less quality. Less quality means less $$$. So, try the hard way as the quality is assured.

Put your blog link on FB, Myspace, twitter, plurk or any other social networking sites you use. If you use YM, put it in your status message. Also, I'd suggest surfing the net for blogs that have the same interests as yours and commenting on them. It's a great way to drive people to your blog.

One of the best ways to help promote any blog is through the use of a social media outlet. This obviously could only work effectively if you actually have content which is worth submitting.

I tend to lean towards using twitter, digg and stumbleupon for promoting my blog and other websites. These have helped me significantly in the past, and while digg in particular is known to not create ad conversions, the amount of recurring visitors to my site has made the effort well worth it.

The best and most effective way is to write the kind of content other people will want to link.

Sure, you're better off not neglecting commenting and social bookmarking, but in the bottom line it's all peanuts compared to the kind of exposure you get when someone with clout features you on their website.
