Looking to sell MySpace Resource site.

Description: Totally custom MySpace Resource website. Lots of backgrounds, layouts and codes. What is included in the sale is everything you see on the website: Domain-name, Database and all of the files (backgrounds, graphics, etc ....)

Reason I'm looking to sell: Don't really have the time to keep it up to date and could use the money.

Revenue: AdSense is the source of revenue. I know I haven't fully exploited it due to the placement and nature of my ads, but I'm pretty sure that if you know how to place your ads you an make much more. The site averages just over $11.00/day. (Aug 1 - Aug. 21)



Stats: Visitors come from MySpace and Google. I have nearly 19k visitors from Google so far this month, the rest of the visitors come from either MySpace or through link exchanges with other MySpace websites. Stats screen-shots are pretty self explanatory.





Demographics: About 90% of traffic is from the US. Since it is MySpace I'm guessing between ages 13-25.

Note:** This website is linked to from a VERY reputable PR9 page as well as a PR7 page from the same site. Although PR isn't a MAJOR factor I do expect this website to receive a nice PR jump once it gets some PR. [ PR9 link from http://www.w3.org/Consortium/sup ]. It is also linked to from many PR5/4/3/2/etc ...

Is the majority of the traffic coming from you promoting it?

If so how? bulletins, a specific profile?

I HAVEN'T PROMOTED THE WEBSITE AT ALL.

NO BULLETINS, or PROFILES.

All traffic has been 100% natural.

Get about 1k uniques/day from Google .... and the rest comes from people who have a button or link to the site on their profile and someone clicks on it or through the link-exchanges, but NO REAL promotion has been attempted on my part.

I can only imagine how things would be if it were to be properly promoted and adsense ads were to be properly placed. On top of that like I said once the PR update comes around I would expect nothing less than that of a PR6, so you could probably even sell link ads for a decent fee based on PR and traffic.

 

What ballpark figure are you looking for?

 

I'm looking for about 8-9 months revenue (~ $2,400 - $2,500 BIN).

I can't see revenue going lower, as the site is getting more and more visitors as it ages.

The site has a custom coded backend and design. As well as the fact that it's linked to by a PR9 site.

nice site. But I dont think your PR9 link from w3.org will pass any PR to you. Because they have a nofollow tag on that page which means none of the links will be picked up from that page.

Well like I said it does have PR coming from PR7's 5's 4's 3's etc ... They must have implemented that nofollow tag recently; I don't recall seeing it there before. :\

You claimed no marketing was done however myspace shows up in your stats quite heavily.....

@SEM-Advance: Everytime someone places a layout, code, graphic on there website a link back is posted from their profile. When I said I never marketed it, I meant that I've never done the PMs, Bulletins, etc ...
