    LaceHost seems online for me, is it just your website that is offline or also the LaceHost homepage?

    I can see the lacehost website but cant access any of my websites.

    open dns says...

    * ns5.lacehost.com returned (SERVFAIL)
    * ns6.lacehost.com returned (SERVFAIL)

    Hello,
    There was a file system issue on the primary HDD of your server (aa.lacehost.com). An FSCK was run for a few hours & it fixed most of the issues. But some issues in /boot (which is necessary for the OS to boot), were not fixed.

    We are performing an OS reload now. cPanel will be installed after the OS reload & then we will restore all accounts from the backup drive. We will also mount the current corrupted disk so that any data from it can be taken (if possible).

    @stringetje,
    I am LaceHost's only DP member, while we have 24x7 staff. It would be much better for you to register at http://service.lacehost.com & open a support ticket. I was out of station for the day & you might have had to wait a few days for a response, if my trip had been longer.

    Hello,
    Again, this forum is not our helpdesk, so I am not sure if the moderators will allow it to be used in this way. We have already sent a mass email to all clients, but if you refuse to register you will never get one.

    The OS install is complete & cPanel is installing now. We do backups daily, so the backup should be today/yesterday's if there were no issues during backup. Also, the primary hdd which had the issue also contains all data, as only its /boot partition is damaged. Thus, there won't be any data loss.

    There are no known problems with mail on your server. Please open a ticket as this seems account specific.
