Question on Sedo's commission ?

    Question on sedo.com commission

They say they charge 10% commission or $50 minimum

So if you sell a domain name for $60, 10% of that is $6

But $50 minimum, the commission would be $50 of of the $60

So you would be left with only $10

    Is that correct?

Or am I not understanding this?

I think if you park your domain with SEDO and then sell it, then it's just a 10% commission....

I want to sell my domain names

I just changed the price of the domain names for sale

    And I got this message:

Please note: For transactions, where the difference between the sale price chosen by you and the minimum commission is less than 10 EUR/USD/GBP, a sales price of the minimum commission plus 10 EUR/USD/GBP has been applied.
This means that your proceeds for those items amount to only 10 EUR/USD/GBP! An overview of the minimum commission by TLD applicable in case of a sale may be found https://sedo.com/services/prices.php3?tracked=&partnerid=&language=us

I have no idea what they're talking about

so does this mean that if the domain is parked at sedo then there is no minimum commission? the way I understood it was they now have a minimum commission of $50 even on .com's ?

if this is so can you please give me a link to where it states that? I recently received a $60 offer on a domain I have parked with them and the system showed I would only get $10

I am also very confused about this

Because on the bottom of this page it says:

    http://www.sedo.com/services/prices...=&language=us&tracked=&partnerid=&language=us

    1. No minimum fee if the domain is verifiably parked with Sedo and sells for a fixed price; only the flat 10% rate applies.

My domains are parked with Sedo

And they are still trying to get the $50 minimum

This looks like deceptive advertising to me

well, you can look for some sedo guys or those cooperating with Sedo to get your answer, i think just on DP, Sedo people won't be few.
