About Bing?

hi all,

Everyone think to be no 1 in Google, but what about other search engines??
Do they have less visitors.. bing is good search engine.. what bing consider to make site on first page??

 

It has some different algorithm. But getting ranked in bing is easy. But it is useless as they will not provide that much traffic. Unless you are ranked for highly competitive keywords bing can not throw any traffic. I hardly get any traffic from bing thought I get tons from Google.

 

Bing also follows the same guidelines as done by other search engines including Google. Content is King + Quality Backlinks works for Bing as well..

 

I don't think Bing will last too long.

They seem to not be doing well.

 

BING uses Yahoo databases, so care about being No.1 in Yahoo. This Google mania is a nice thing but Yahoo is still on the scene.

Bing is crap...there I said it. One minute I'm indexed with them, then the next I'm gone.

 

Im 2th please in bing with one keyword i got 300hits.
if in google be 2th i will get 30.000 hits
so its exact that bing sucks

 

bing may catch on later,but getting any good rank in google is better for sure

 

Google is definitely better than bing, but i think it is still important to try get traffic from all possible sources. Because while I get a lot more traffic from google, peope who click my link through Bing tend to spend more time on my site. Bing search engine is more about quality backlinks and content.

 

Interesting to hear some feedback on Bing. It seemed like when they were really pushing the advertising 3-4 months ago everyone was high on it. Now not so much.

 

I think they are just building it up to offload to someone or other business. Claim it to be the next google and that seems to TRY and be attempted every 3 years or so.

The engine with the most traffic WINS and if they want to actually compete with that you need to get to the site owners, web admins and hosting accounts.

 

one of my site dominate bing for several highly competitive keywords. But it brings me no traffic at all. So is MSN. It is still the world of google.

 

It is very easy to rank for a highly competitive key word in bing but not in other popular search engines like google or yahoo. So, channelize your efforts to rank high in google to get a fitting reward.

but if you want the first in google, you must choose uniqe keyword dan more people find with that keywords ...

 

See Google has high traffic but BING has compartively less traffic therefore people prefer google

 

Google has 65% of the searchers while bing + yahoo combined account for 30%.

Thats y everyone wants to be on top of Google, but you have a point there... Bing might be the next big thing.. but it will take time as everyone is addicted to Big G!

 

many people still want to target Google as their main traffic for their website..

 

Bing is a joke...I would worry more about Google and Yahoo then I would Bing...Bing is an after thought...

 

I still consider bing , but I give more importance to google and yahoo.com . So I'd rather work for google and yahoo first then if i got the first slot or even to be on first page for my targeted keywords. That will be a time to work for bing.
