Today is Thanksgiving. It is a major US Holiday and finding a good quality writer today is not going to be free or very close to it. Just wanted to vent!
There are many non-US buyers and sellers of content. I understand your frustration, though. I think tomorrow should be the day for looking to get freebies and cheap stuff. Black Friday, isn't it?
It is Black Friday. Or the day after, it is a great day to get some cheap or free items. Not sure if this includes articles. I know that I personally have not thought of giving anything away tomorrow. I have a full day of work a head of me. Wait until Monday for all the good online sales.

Waiting a day or two really is not the issue here. What is the issue is that there are buyers who think they can hire a writer to work for next to nothing. At the same time they expect it on a Major US Holiday. Now if the writers from other countries want to work for a penny a word that is their business not mine. I would rather make a living.
This attitude to pricing has dropped the bottom out of the content market. As long as some desperate plgaiarist in India is willing to work for slivers of a cent per article, every webmaster expects top seo articles for pennies and results by next week.
Well, those who hire buy these low quality articles will come back to us eventually as soon as they start to see their sales declining.
Well you know its not just articles buyers it is all sorts of stuff in this mass-produced industrial society. No offence but I read you just put up a website with a free theme. There are tons coders out there saying "why won't these people pay a coder..!!" "all they want is free themes…" And all the free graphics on your site tons of unemployed graphic artists out there.. "all people just want cheap clip art and free graphics..!!" You can set your blog up for free through an auto install instead of hiring a webmaster so the webmasters all say " all people just want a lame auto install for free..!! our well they will be sorry when the site crashes with no back up.." Not that I have anything against all free themes (I use them all the time) I'm just saying it is with everything, people want cheap and free including you and me. Every time you buy a $5 poster an artist is unemployed with a room full of unsold custom art. Every time you buy a table from Wal-mart a few dozen local carpenters are unemployed while a guy in Mexico works in a factor for cheap. Every time you read AP news hundreds of thousands of local news writers a crossed the world are unemployed.
You know you have a valid point. I don't personally like Walmart at least not for food. I shop at a local Grocery Store called Wegmans.
