Quick Question About Article Marketing for SEO

Hey everyone, I just have a really quick question regarding article marketing to boost the rankings of my sites in Google.

If I'm submitting an article to multiple directories do I need to change the words around or can I leave them the same. So for example if I wrote an article for Ezine and GoArticles do they need to both be unique or can they be the same since its 2 different directories?

Also, does boosting the popularity of the article itself through backlinks also help with the rankings of my site that I'm trying to get ranked?

Any other helpful information about article writing for SEO would be greatly appreciated as this is something I'm just starting to get into more.

    Thanks everyone.

If you can write the article intelligently use any article spinner tool to make different unique articles out of it. This way you can have more unique articles. Some sites check duplicate articles from other sites, so spinning is a better approach for article submission.

    Thanks for the response.

I've heard from some people though that article spinners will sometimes change the article around to where it doesn't make sense anymore.

Is there a certain one you use that works good? I'd prefer something free or cheap if possible.

    Thanks.

Nothing is perfect, but action is the most important factor. Good Luck!

You need to do some manual work for this to make it sensible! I use one from my client, which I'm unable to disclose. I just shared the idea because I am experiencing the results for the client.

I'm sure there are more senior DP members who can suggest and share some great article spinning tools.

If you want real exposure to your site & backlinks, you need to submit unique artiles to each directory. As you asked an article for Ezine, you need only unique article for that because they are very strict about uniqueness.
Don't be fooled by some folks who are providing 500-1000 directories at a one time submission, it could be spam.
Try to submit unique articles for each directory.

    Better & better

Its alright to have the same article posted to ezine articles and goarticles. But then, if you can spare the time to spin the article and make it unique so that the ezine articles article is different from goarticles one, it would be much better.

Based on experience, its ok to use the same title and content when submitting to different directories. Backlinks play a significant role with the rankings but when putting links for the resource box try to stick with two links and nothing more than that. Also there are article directories that does not allow you to place backlinks on the body of the article itself, i think Ezine is one of them

    Thanks for the responses everyone.

Some people are saying to use unique content for each directory and some are saying it's OK to use the same stuff so I'm still unsure lol. I have no problem with using unique content but the reason I'm asking is because there's so many article directories out there that it would suck to have to rewrite the same article like 20 times and I don't currently have a spinner that I can use.

So if I'm using them just for backlinks it's OK to have the same article on every directory?

Part of the challenge with spinning articles is making sure either yourself, or your writers understand this is what you want to accomplish.

A good writer can create multiple articles on the same topic, using the same format, which can then be spun as a group to make many, many articles for your use in Article Directories.

Every article will be readable, and unique.
