The text is very hard to read because of the orientation and the tight kerning. Also the 'G' and 'n' in the text feel crowded out by the sharp edge of the graphic. Try printing it out and tweak it until you can read the text from a long distance.
yeah sorry, my bad - i miss read it but i like the logo, the fact it isn't easy to be read gives a + to it as it is more interesting to study
I'd have to say no to it being iconic - whilst I can't draw a matchstick man on my PC, I shouldn't be criticising your work but I find it quite boring and not very eye catching.
To be honest, any form of writing which requires me to lean my head at a 90degree angle just to read it aint goin to get read. That goes even more for adverts and logo's. RSI is bad mm'kay
i agree with denvar, it shouldnt be a mind game. unless i specifically needed that word grafstein, i wouldnt bother deciphering it. since you're still making the logo, its good to change it now than later.
Grafstein. My opinion - get a professional to design you a logo - I did this with my business and it made the difference between an average looking website, to a very good looking site. I'd recommend Mark at www.eagleimagery.co.uk - very professional, good rates, and he'll do an awesome job for you.
Visit the website, all of his contact information is on there. p.s. you pay for what you get - you can get $5 logos if you ask around DP, but the quality will not be anywhere near the same standard.
