    Hello friends,

This all started 3-4 days back. I applied on a project by a DP member ( I dont want to put his name here ). He was worried to pay us upfront and I was worried that what if he dont pay after completing project. The project was about coding a PHP scripts. We finally after discussing for 2 days decided that I will first make design and then show him and then rest part will be completed after the 50% payment to which he said yes. I sent him design snapshot he liked it and I was ready to make any changes which he may need but he said design is good but he is worried in paying 50% now I was so disappointed as we discussed alot on this before itself and we made a decision on paying 50% once we show him design. After alot discussion again today I asked him to just pay 50USD just to make us comfortable that you wont run away without buying the script which we code for you ( This happend with us alot times ) but he says he cant pay even single $ before I complete the script and send him for testing .

If he dint wanted to pay even a single $ before completing it then why he made us to make design snapshot for him? If he was feeling so unsafe with us then why he promised to pay 50% after showing design? I made my designer work on design for 2 days which comes to 80USD for me as I'm paying 40USD per designer per day. Dont you think this is a scam?

I dont know how I can make him believe that we wont scam him and get the deal. I dont want to miss this deal as I want to build good reputation on Digitalpoint and I'm continously looking for some projects.

    Do give me your suggestion.

    Regards,

tell him to put the project up on some site (elance or similar) where they hold payments in escrow. and make it open to only u exclusively. This way u are assured u will get the payment and he too can be sure he will get what hes paying for.

He is not interested in that too. He want to see work first and then talk about payment.

Kick his ass. These type of people are doing time pass and will never reply after you give him script. Just forget him and go ahead with next deal.

I'd just forget about him and do business elsewhere. He's not cooperating and making the deal easy.
