I would take away the white. It just doesn't look good. try a different shade of green I would say.

 

The header specially the logo needs some improvement too.

I disagree. The colors don't work well together at all. The ads stick out like sore thumbs, which doesn't make me want to click on them.

Also, you need to work on targeting your content to get good adsense words. I'm looking at one of your blog entries about tracking user behavior, and every adsense ad is trying to sell me cars.

You can put a tag in your html that tells google where to look for keywords (for instance, before the text of your blog entry.

You can also put a tag around things to ignore. Something in your forum is tricking Google into promoting Dodge and Chrysler. You can put an ignore tag where Google shouldn't be looking for keyword content.
